What started as a kind-hearted rescue on the near eastside of Indianapolis quickly turned into a delightful, albeit overwhelming, adventure! We recently welcomed a stray dog into our home, only to discover she was pregnant. Ten adorable puppies later, our lives were filled with the joys and chaos of a bustling litter.

Just as we were days away from finding forever homes for most of them, tragedy struck. The dreaded parvo virus infected our precious pups. The following days were a blur of sleepless nights, multiple vet visits, and intensive in-home treatments. We're incredibly relieved to share that, thanks to dedicated care, we anticipate a full recovery for all the puppies!

While our hearts are full, our wallets are, well, not so much. The unexpected costs of raising a surprise litter – from countless bags of puppy food to mounting vet bills – have left us financially depleted.
